Larry R. Williams is the President of the law office of Larry R. Williams, PLLC where he practices in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, Social Security disability, business, probate and real estate law.  He received his B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his law degree from Nashville School of Law in 1974. Larry has been in private practice in Nashville for the more than thirty-two years. He was an instructor at the Nashville School of Law for 22 years teaching Local Government and Evidence; currently an Emeritus Faculty member with the school.

Larry is active in bar association programs. He is a member of, former First Vice-President and former member of the Board of Directors of the Nashville Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Associations. He is a Sustaining Member of the Association of Trail Lawyers of America and a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and former member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.  He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy from 1996 to 2006.  Larry also frequently lectured at CLE seminars on evidence and civil trial procedure topics.
 
Larry is admitted to practice in all courts of record of Davidson County, Tennessee, including the Tennessee Supreme Court, United States District Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Raised on a small farm in Nolensville, Tennessee, Larry taught school at Nolensville Elementary School in the early 1970's while attending law school at night in Nashville at the Nashville School of Law. 

Larry and his wife of 37 years, Marilyn, have two adult children, Corey and Jonathan, and three grandchildren Justin, Addison and Isabella. Jonathan is an attorney with the firm. When not at the office, Larry and Marilyn enjoy spending time at their condo in Venice, Florida.

In 2001, Larry suffered a stroke. Fortunately, he refuses to let this incident sidetrack his career and his desire to represent his clients. While Larry no longer litigates cases in the courtroom, he is involved in every client’s matter contributing his 32 years of courtroom experience, trial preparation, negotiation skills and knowledge of the law. Whether it is discussing trial strategy and preparation, the details of a business deal or meeting with the family of seriously injured people, Larry provides a stronghold of leadership and experience upon which his clients and staff rely.

Jonathan Williams (Attorney), Jonathan Williams is a Nashville native and is Larry Williams’  son. Jonathan represents clients in personal injury and commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, business law and formation, wills, probate and estate planning. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science - Law and Justice - from North Carolina State University graduating Cum Laude. He received his J.D. from Nashville School of Law in 2007, working as the Firm’s law clerk while in law school. In college Jonathan was a three year letter winner and member of two ACC Championship wrestling teams. Additionally, he was a four time recipient of the scholar athlete award and three times an ACC All Conference Academic Team member. Jonathan is a member of the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Officials Association, a not-for-profit corporation chartered to promote amateur wrestling in middle Tennessee. He also serves as a middle, high school and college wrestling referee.

Jonathan is member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Association for Justice (formerly the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association) and American Association for Justice.

Albert Wayne Crim (Attorney), a native of Nashville, Tennessee, Wayne received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Belmont College in 1972.  He also received a B.E., M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee.  Wayne received his law degree from Nashville School of Law in 2000 where he was a member of the Cooper’s Inn Honor Society.  Prior to joining the firm, Wayne was Vice President of Computer Consultants, Inc.

Wayne joined the law office of Larry R. Williams, P.C. in July of 2005.  He represents clients in the areas of Business Law, the formation of Corporations, LLCs and Non-profits, Real Estate, Wills and Probate, Estate Planning, and Social Security Disability. Wayne is the principal attorney for the firm’s real estate closing office, Union Street Title, LLC, and is quickly gaining a reputation in the real estate and legal community for his attention to detail and thoroughness.

Wayne is a member of the American, Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations as well as the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
