Firm Overview
The firm was started by my father, Larry Williams, and he taught me long ago that being a lawyer isn’t about just knowing the law. It’s about helping people, pulling them up by their bootstraps, helping them overcome their obstacles. And people that have been traumatically injured need a lawyer like us because they don’t have anybody else. We’re their advocate. We get to know them, we get to know the problems they have, we get to know their family and their struggles. And that’s important when you’re going up against these big insurance companies. When we meet somebody, something’s gone wrong. They’re hurt, they have struggles, they have problems. But at the end, we get to celebrate with them. Helping people through that process, navigating the litigation, it’s really rewarding to help people along that path.
What sets The Williams firm apart are several different things. First and foremost, we don’t spend really any of our budget on advertising on purpose because what we want to do is dedicate those resources and that time to understanding the client and their needs. When you hire us, you get us. You don’t get a paralegal, you don’t get a legal assistant. When you call and you ask for Greg Hazelwood, your lawyer, or Jonathan Williams, your lawyer, you get them. What we want to do is give each client, each case, the tailored attention that it deserves. The decision to hire a lawyer is very important, something most people don’t have to do in their life. If you’ve got one shot at it, you want to make sure you’re doing it right. That’s why we take such a one-on-one approach to every case. And the work we do not just benefits that individual client, but also the neighborhoods and the communities we live in. Helping make a change is a big responsibility and it’s very rewarding at the same time when it happens. So a case is not just about how much money did you get for this person, but what impact did we help make in our community.
