Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcycle accidents are different than a standard car accident case. First off, there’s just this bias that for some reason a motorcycle driver doesn’t have the same right to share the road as everybody else. That they’re doing something careless just because they’re riding a motorcycle. We know that’s not true. Certainly motorcycle crashes involve injuries that sometimes are more devastating than a normal car crash just by the lack of protection. Understanding the mechanisms of a motorcycle crash is incredibly important to proving the case, whether that be at a settlement or at a jury trial. And knowing that the injuries that occurred to our clients who are riding a motorcycle are oftentimes much more traumatic than if they were just in the car.
The Williams firm has relationships with experts who can go to the scene and recreate the accident to demonstrate to the jury that the motorcycle rider was operating his motorcycle safely. Motorcycle riders have the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else and deserve the same compensation if someone else injures them. So we make sure the jury understands that too.
If you’ve been injured in a motorcycle wreck, give me a call. I’ll be happy to talk you through the process.
